Very Disappointed

Most TV shows would kill to get a four-season run, we just got spoiled by three straight series with seven seasons apiece. But I wouldn't miss ENT nearly as much as I do if it had never gotten its fourth season, so...

It just sucks that the show got killed just when it had finally turned the corner (starting with season three). I wish TPTB had been less anti-Trek and had at least given ENT one more shot on Spike, who had shown interest in taking the show from UPN. I think ENT would have thrived on a cable network, where the ratings threshold is much lower.

That's my very point !!! :scream:

Gene Roddenberry (through the Vulcan IDIC mantra) and pro fans like Bjo Trimble, encouraged fans to be open minded about life in general. I've enjoyed all new versions of Star Trek, despite any minor or major inadequacies. ;)

Close-minded fans will never be able to accept new things, let alone enjoy them.

Exactly !!

That's what I don't understand. If the Star Trek mantra is tolerance and being open minded how did we become so sarcastic and selfish???

As someone who occasionally watched TNG when i was younger, i was bored and went and bought all for seasons of Enterprise, and i must say i was very impressed with it.

So, as for the "very Disappointed", it came to an end far too soon in my opinion, just when they could have opened up some serious pre-federation plots and back fills.

So, its probably been asked before, but has CBS/Paramount completely 150% killed the series with no hope of reviving it? (the last episode, in my mind, was terrible and completely lacking).

I scoured the internet and found so much support for a continued series, but nohing from CBS...

Thanks.

Steve

well, you should have watched while IT WAS ON THE AIR. then you might not have been "very disappointed" NOW.
