Vance's Schematics III

Star Ranger Class DN
Same as the Coral Sea above, really, but by demand from Guiggie.
I say go all out, there is still room for a few more nacelles off the bottom of the secondary hull ;)

...and you could connect a necelle to each side of the top nacelle.

This would be the U.S.S. Overkill Hyper-Dreadnought pathfinder which, when they first tried to go to warp with, exploded and created a black hole in Omega-sector. ;)

Change of pace...

Knight of France Class Frigate
Custom Design

Did you ever decide whether or not to take a shot at Gabe's two Connie variants?

I've got them on the request list, but since they're both uniquely custom, it'll be a bit before I get to them. (IE, I have to draw every single part from scratch all over again...)

Cool! Thanks for letting us know.

Did you need visual reference for the "Series" Connie? I can send you pics or links if you do, just let me know.

Wow your Knights of france Class is UBER AWSOME

and i remember the DC comic the Cortes is from :)

and Your Long Island class is a better Carrier than the

Coronado Class for the TOS era IMO :)

The Diana is a truly outstanding design!

It would be neat to retcon this design back to TOS-style. This is what the Saladin/Hermes should've looked like from the beginning.

Please quit saying that.. as I've said, it's VERY easy to say in 2008 that 'This is the way Franz Joseph should have done it' in 1973. I actually find that statement a bit insulting to the man... who made the Technical Manually out of literally next to nothing, by hand, no computer aids, and basically INVENTED science-fiction technical fandom all by himself.

That said, the Pompey and Diana presented here are upratings of Aridas's Diana and Pompey TOS designs (which I already drew up in the gallery).

Excellent work, Vance.:techman: Have you thought about doing the Coranodo Class Carrier both as TOS and TMP?

Awsome work on these new TMP era schematics :techman:

and Yeah i agree with ya there about Franz Joseph :)

seroiusly is he even still alive? and became of any sketchs he might have done? Plus it be awsome if i could say Thank you to him for making the Starfleet Tech Manual 'cus without i dont think we'd even have Starfleet Battles or any of the Techincal blueprints and Books about Starfleet and other Starships

Vance, great work as usuall. I was wondering though, what cad software you used for all your work and how I could get a copy of it.

Sadly he's no longer with us. His daughter, Karen Dick, occasionally posts here as well as provides some information about both the blueprints and technical manual. (My 'Ships of the Technical Manual' guide was made specifically for her as an homage to her father).

Actually, it's all Pixel Bashing in Paint Shop Pro. I've begun some work in Canvas, but find my CAD skills nowhere near up to snuff for release as of yet.
