You got warned for posting your Art? That really sucks. But why do you fear the same happening on this forum? I'm not that long a member here but the admins and mods here are certainly not "Thought Police".
inhale... exhale... good. i mean, it's just a movie. it's not like it means anything. certainly not a cosmos-shattering event like the oncoming release of D&D 4e.
Actually, in both of those cases (shame on you for following me into WoTC land! :P ) it's not the actual products which annoy me, but the fanbois who are ready to draw battlelines about how great the 'new' stuff always is, and how anyone who likes anything older than yesterday should be shot or something. I mean, these guys just aren't fans... they're 'trenders'. I'm not sure it's a good idea to constantly cater to them, since in the long term they're just not going to be around.
I love this design!!!! Defiant-Class meets Loknar-Class/Phobos-Class. Eat frag grenades & proton torpedos, you SOB Klingons!!! Now, if only someone would re-post the link to the ship-kits involved. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? I love this one. I've got an idea to TNG/DS9-era/Nem-era upgrade it. BUT, again, I need the link to the ship kit involved with the front/back/top/side/bottom views of the secondary hull of this one. I can get the rest from shipschematics.net & old line drawings of Kaden's original Pandora-Class (modular) freighter concept. Plus, line drawings of the Ronin/Borodin-Classes would come in handy, too.

Once upon a time, just before FASA lost their Star Trek RPG license, they released miniatures of the Andor and Northampton. (This was ***WAY*** back in the days of yore, when miniatures were still made of lead.) Seeing these designs in three dimensions answers more than a few questions about them...
Thanks Vance! It's really big of you to put out another parts sheet after what the j-holes did to you earlier!
I'm older than you think, guy. I had those miniatures. The Northampton was accurate from the top and had a 'hood', which isn't evident on the side and fore views. The artist (whose name that I've forgotten, unfortunately) for the miniature admitted that he fudged to get something that worked.
You didn't say HOW you solved it. You just said it was nigh impossible. I was suggesting a way to make things easier for you...
For the Northampton, I biased the side view (which was the most recognizable) and then worked on the dorsal view, lining things up as close as possible while keeping the views intact. The bow view is what suffers, and even then it's fairly close, with the exception of the nacelle booms, which can't be rectified as the book had them.
Thanks for the new toolkit! Interesting containers, that is in fact the way, i imagined non-starfleet freighters to look like (after a description of one in one of the novels, which describes the frighter as a cylindrical hull with one warp-nacelle) I like the idea, that those frighters can be joined into an container-train.
