This is Star Trek. The font used for the titles will cause actual riots in the streets. Controversial is a given. 
I'll leave you to it. Too exhausting to worry about colors of panels.
Judging from the look of the technology, I'm guessing that (in-universe) it would be a trivial task to change the user interface. Like selecting a desktop theme.
All displays on the Discovery have an option to select 'light' or 'dark' mode, so this probably extends to color schemes as well.
the pad Number One brought over to Discovery had the blue interface.
I'll be glad when we see the new bridge and then they can release images and details about the construction process.

That's from ST09. Probably the Blu Ray special features, judging by the typeface of the caption. In the lower right, you can see the drawing is dated August, 2007, right under Ryan Church's signature.

JJ and the production designers should have gone for that bridge design. It looks a lot better than the final design we got.
I think I may have found a good way to describe the JJ bridge:

They pretty much did, the biggest difference is blue consoles not yellow, and podiums instead of consoles.
