USS Enterprise (eventually) on Discovery?

I hope they're there. Even the NX-01 had them in the corresponding locations on its saucer and both were illuminated by floodlights.

Bridge window, as expected.

Some kind of gap in the nacelle pylons.

Looks like a docking port between the two impulse engines. Cutout underneath the shuttlebay is more pronounced. No significant undercut on the saucer.

Seems roughly the same scale. I don't see the Constitution as being half the length of Discovery. The shot was composed as the ships being 1-2 lengths away from each other. Difference due to perspective shouldn't be that much.

I expect more details to drop in the next couple weeks.

I’m surprise how identical the deflector is. I was expecting two prongs

Also there was no glowy bits behind it

The neck is shorter then the TOS and movie refit. It does look like the registry number is under the saucer but heard to make out because of the lights shining on it.

I love it. An excellent update. However, I would be remiss if I didn't say that it doesn't look like the ship I saw in The Cage.

I can't wait to see the eventual Eaglemoss version.
Hell with Eaglemoss, I want something a hell of a lot bigger and detailed. Something more like 1/1000 th scale or, swinging for the fences, trot out a 1/350th scale version. The ship was beautiful, do it justice

Mirror-Defiant shares a lot with Enterprise. Nacelles are identical. Saucer, minus a few cutouts, is the same. Engineering hull has similar aft end and a slightly tweaked fore-end.

Not sure if they started with the final Enterprise and worked backwards, or Defiant was a rejected concept for Enterprise that they decided to drop as a teaser.

Neck is shorter, also wider. Correspondingly, the nacelle pylons exit the hull at a shallower angle. You can really notice in my first capture.

This 1701 has a shorter, meaner cut to it. Reminds me of the kinda-off Enterprise from the cover of the 25th Anniversary game.

Imma be for real! That’s a perfect updated NCC-1701. My word....she’s beautiful. I totally geeked out and was white knuckling my chair waiting on her to appear.

Basically they shortened the interconnecting hull, beefing it up ala TMP refit. They borrowed the proportions and shapes of the saucer and engineering hull from the TMP ship as well as cruder versions of the nacelle pylons. They applied exaggerated textures to the mesh, slapped the ubiquitous Blue Glow on the inner nacelle grilles and then finished off the rears of the nacelles while drinking fifteen cokes, binging on sugar donuts and dropping acid.
