USS Enterprise (eventually) on Discovery?

I like the look of it. It's actually a lot like the Kelvin enterprise bridge but with a darker color scheme and lots of red. It also reminds me a bit of the early Franklin bridge concept art that looked like an updated TOS Bridge but sleeker. It's actually how I imagined the Kelvin Enterprise A's bridge looking if a fourth Kelvin trek movie ever happened. The exterior also looks fantastic in the screenshots above. On first glance it looked like the TOS Enterprise for a second.

I'm working on that design for my Star Trek 4 "What if" fan trailer. Kirk will be looking out of the viewscreen at...something I will not say right now...and you will see the entire 1701-A bridge behind him.

So far I like what I see, but I can't help think how ridiculous it seems that they updated EVERYTHING, but when it came to the chairs they were like, "Eh, fuck it".

I love that aspect. I read it as a nod assuring us that, yes, it's the Enterprise bridge.

This wasn't yellow before. Rendering error, or did they actually make some minor changes to the ship's exterior? I don't think it's a reflection, it doesn't change at all when the camera movies.

It's an RCS thruster. The CG models of both Discovery and the Enterprise were polished between Season 1 and 2, so I imagine they added the yellow color to that thruster.

Enterprise has red doors. It's also the same type of door seen in Spock's room back on the Starbase.

That's...remarkably TOS-like considering. Those chairs and the hooded sensor viewer at Number One's helm station...SO MUCH NERDGASMING.

I strongly suspect Starfleet viewscreens could always change sizes on voice command. Just because we never saw it happen doesn't mean it didn't have that functionality.

Kirk just really liked the non-widescreen setting for some reason.

judging by the shade of blue, they're S31 ships.

the bridge appears to be about the right size It's smaller than the Discovery bridge at least.
