Unsued Production Check In

Use spoiler code there, dude!

I mean, fuck - I've had the paperback on my shelf since high school and have been meaning to pull a Zelig.

Nothing has changed with Yorktown. We just finished work on the opening FX shot for the film last week, and wrapped on ADR voice work this week.

Agreed, I mean just because the novel was first published in 1851 - you still need to give us time to get current. :nyah:

I am confused I thought the only production being sued was Axanar? Did I miss something?
You;re not missing anything. The first post didn't exactly clearly state the purpose of thread, which appears to be "is this Axanar mess affecting you not-sued productions' plans?"

Peters claimed that the non-Axanar fan films were shutting down. I just wanted to know if that was true by asking the actual people involved.

@Zaminhon You're quite correct. The new series, Farragut Forward, will take some of their crew into the TWOK era, as I understand it. I don't believe they're planning on building complete sets, however I may be mistaken.

The movie era is an untapped canvas.
I understand why most of the shows up till now have gone with TOS as the sets only cost $1.75 to begin with.

I'd love to see the movie bridge again. Which version though?

I love the chairs in TMP. I don't think the green covers add anything in TWOK (clearly to differentiate from the Reliant) although I've always liked the turbolift signs from TWOK onwards.
