Looks like fun!

She looks too burly and burlesque to be be Uhura and that hair is of putting.

Reminds of Ndoye. The one with the FUNNY hat in STD.

They seem to have swapped all the beautiful people with ugly ones.

Pike excepted.

The only thing I saw that was off-putting was Spock's sideburns.

The sideburn dye seems to have dropped down past his earlobes , maybe it could join his mouth.

but, man, do I hate the lighting and textures, which make it look like it’s assembled from cast-iron plates. In the wake of the new Director’s Cut, why couldn’t they have made it TMP-beautiful instead??

I would’ve preferred it look more like the TOS version, but I obviously didn’t get a vote.

Built like a tank and should have put her in security instead of Laan/Twiggs who should have been Uhura.
Built like a tank? Are we looking at the same woman? So by "burlesque" You gonna help me out there?
he sad fact is a man strength will always be greater than a womans due to physics.
Sure, lets go there.

What?

lol, c'mon man.

Do you really think Starfleet assigns people based on this kind of pseudoscientific phrenology-type shit?

Interesting. Why are there so many real-world examples that prove you wrong?

You don't even have the disciplines right. Most differences in strength would be biological or structural differences, not "physics." The only way in which physics might enter the question would be with respect to mass, and leverage as affected by limb length and so forth. There are of course, many identified as men who are smaller and less muscular than many identified as women.

TL; DR: If you stick to just posting assertions about what you actually know something about, you'll do fine.

Physics underlies everything and we are talking about average people not outliers. Look at Twiggs. She is scrawny and I could hold her off with just one hand.

Even the great Avon said so at the end of that episode in which his female antagonist is dying.
Its a fantastic line the way he said it and very memorable which is why it came to mind.

"Twiggs?" You referring to the 1960s Mod fashion model? If so, you must be as old as I am, or heavily into nostalgia. I guess neither would be that unusual for a TOS-centric poster on this BBS.

Must admit I'm impressed at your confidence that you could take on a 90-pound seventeen year-old girl with one hand. Post proof or retract.

I simply use one hand to keep them at arms length while standing sideways. Not that difficult. Twigs refers someone very thin or skinny or light weight. Look at her standing next to Pual Wesley
