Sorry, folks... disregard. Was hoping to post some images here to get some opinions, but I just can't seem to do it.

Well, I make a living at my computer, so my being unable to post images here got both frustrating and embarrassing. Actually, my entire day was filled with "glitches" like this. It seemed very straight forward...type a new post, click the image icon and enter the url of where my image is stored. However, all I kept getting was a broken image icon. After several attempts, I ended up just deleting everything. Sorry that I couldn't delete the actual topic.

Are your images stored in a public site like photobucket? In photobucket you can make different folders public and private, could that be the issue?

You actually don't need to use the image icon. you can just past into the body of the message the image code generated by the storage site you're using.

^ Unless you know the trick! ;) It seems pretty contrary to me that they provide direct links for things like Livejournal, but not for general forums. I usually click on the Livejournal link (don't need an account), then pick out the thumbnail image path it provides.

Or if that fails, just use the "Link" (with "http://fav.me......") and just have people click the link.

I've never had issues posting my DA pics anywhere else. Well, let's settle for this then...

I am developing a new series. I'm still up in the air on whether it will be a straight up flash animation or more of a motion comic. Originally, I was planning on casting the TOS crew but as things progressed, I decided on an entirely new crew and adventure...and ship.

I had a design I sketched out months ago just for fun. It was to be a post-TNG era ship but I am now re-working it into a movie era design. I only have a rough outline of shapes at the moment but am curious what my fellow Trek fans might think.

My original sketch. I imagined it approximately the same size as Voyager...

This is my re-worked sketch. Imagine the saucer is the same size as the TMP Enterprise...

And here are my uniform designs. They were meant to be sort of a combination of TOS and movie-era designs...

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Very nice stuff there :techman: :)

Ensign Ro-...Next time you trace over one of my 3d models, it might be a good idea to mention my name.

You're correct, Red Spar. My Quog-style version of Jeffries original design for the shuttlecraft is based directly off your models. However, not mentioning you was not intentional. I was shown the models out of context, recognized the design, and re-created them in a very simplified version. Had I known who had made them, I certainly would have mentioned the name. Easily fixed in my DA gallery.

You're now credited for the models in my gallery. Again, sorry about that. I was just sent the images, had no idea where they came from.

RedSpar, I like you're Aries. I'd love to see a later version of it if there is one.

Ro, interesting ship. What era is it from? Number of decks, crew compliment, etc? I'm curious.
