Well, Star Trek has a wonderful history of ignoring previously established events so I guess that is less worrying to me as it is telling a decent story. Continuity comes and goes.Yeah i know. In an ideal world obviously i want to see more of my favorite character but that's just a fanboy...girl dream. I'm not entirely against prequels, they just always seem to violate preciously established canon. Either directly contradicting previously estanlished facts or having more advanced technology than they should, or introducing a new species as a main chatacter
I have zero interest in any starships being front and center. For me it's about the cast, exploring new reaches of space, and furthering the story. As for Wesley I dislike the character so I hope not.
Commodore Bob Wesley not Wesley Crusher.
Secondly, how much of space was really explored in TOS?
