TV series without finales

Galactica 1980 never had a finale. Same with Robotech. Even the most recent Robotech movie still didn't wrap anything up. Also, in "Voyagers," I don't know if the kid ever got back home to 1984 (I think that series ended before the star offed himself, but I don't think there was a finale).

I wish Odyssey 5 and John from Cincinnati had had some closure. I don't know if the world imploded back in 2007 or if World War III started last year.

I remember watching Dark Angel and seeing what I thought was a cliffhanger, only to find out that it was the final episode and that they weren't going to conclude it next week.

I think they finished it off in some novels, though.

Well they wouldn't, they're doing another one.....

I really hope I don't have to wait another 20 years to see it. :vulcan:

Well hopefully.

Robotech: The Shadow Rising has no confirmed release date as yet, although the smart money will obviously suggest that they'll look to coincide with Tobey Maguire's live-action movie adaptation of the original series.

Invasion ended with freaking cliffhanger and was canceled.

Invasion is the obvious one. That show always had much more potential if the commissioning company had had the guts to not meddle.
This is the one I was going to mention too. I haven't seen the whole thing since it's initial airing, and I just restarted the series this week, but if I recall correctly, the season finale started on the right track towards being a finale of sorts... it wrapped up major story lines and was getting things taken care of. And then it ended with several new questions. I'm still disappointed that it got canned.
