Trying to figure out which series to buy next.

I have been a trek fan for as long as I can remember. There where things I liked about show and things I didn't but nothing is perfect.

As I own all of DS9 and all but one season of TOS. When I finally get that done. Soon I hope. I wanted to take recommadations on where i should put my buying power next. Also if anyone knows where I might be able to find the DS9 bonus discs it would be greatly appreciated.

The Next Generation has a fairly prominent place in the canon, second only to the original series. The opening seasons are a little weak, as most shows tend to be before they've hit their stride. I recommend looking up seasons 4-7 of TNG on Memory Alpha, reading through their episode summaries, and figuring out which ones interest you the most. That's what I do when preparing to buy another season of Trek on DVD: I go through the seasons' Memory Alpha articles and decide which one I'd like to reexperience next.

Or I happen to see a season with a deep discount (selling for $20, for instance) in a brick-and-mortar store. That's how I got seasons 1 of both Voyager and Enterprise -- I just happened to spot them on sale.

Walmart has Voyager Season 1 on sale for $19.99. Given the overall quality of the packaging, discs and the episodes themselves, I don't know that I'd believe anyone familiar with the show would pay more than that for it.
