Yes,
JiNX,thanks for the "Similitude" script notes. Seeing that sort of reinforces my view that T'Pol was kissing both Sim and Trip (perhaps for different reasons) or at least that the audience was supposed to wonder if that was the case.

tothebridge i may be wrong but i wondered if tpol was testing trip with the two day line. because back in damage we find out they would meet degra in three days.
so if tpol knew it had been three days and trip just agrees without a debate no wonder she was concerned enough to tattle him out to phlox.
That's an interesting thought. You're right...there was the mention of three days to meet up with Degra but I didn't remember if that was the time to meet up with him after "Damage" or after "E2" when they had been through the corridor . Trip did look like he was on the verge of collapse at that point, though, so I can see why she'd be concerned enough to want Phlox's involvement.

pookha: I wasn't around during the summer between season 2 and season 3... care to share more detailed rumblings about the T/T romance from that time? I don't know if I've read any articles from that time period, and I definitely didn't know the T/T thing was coming. I was just excited for the new direction the show was taking.
boushh, I wasn't around then either. In fact, I don't think I started watching again until the middle of the S3 re-run schedule. When I came back, though, I started going online to find out what I'd missed -- that's how I found this board.
One of the things I remember hearing/reading about was the 2003 summer press tour (this may be one of the things
pookha was referring to)-- during one of the ENT sessions, B&B rolled out the plans for S3 (SB, JB, and CT were there as well).
This article at startrek.com provides a pretty good summary -- towards the end they address the question of S3 romance.
Another one which relates specifically to "Harbinger" is
this one from TrekToday. There were a few others related to that episode as well.
OK, I'm officially behind with posting a few episode caps now -- too busy this past week -- but I couldn't let last Monday’s SciFi block go by (E2, etc.) without posting a few of my favorite ones.
From "Countdown"
Trip and T'Pol are working together to find a way of disabling the sphere network, but T'Pol is still recovering and there's tension between them.
After they trade a few barbs, Trip's had enough and tells T'Pol he's going to work elsewhere.
T'Pol realizes that she may've gone too far and does something guaranteed to stop Trip in his tracks.
"Trip!” she says.
I think he’s as surprised as we are.
T’Pol apologizes, explains that everything that's happened has made her emotional, says it will take some time to regain her control, and that she may not be able to do it on her own. (Looks like she decided to take T’Pold’s advice after all.)
Trip says he’ll be all ears when the crisis is over, gives her a smile, and suggests they take another crack at the sphere problem.
T’Pol looks relieved and grateful….
After that, they’re able to disable the spheres, and T’Pol takes another step towards Trip in “Zero Hour.” This scene makes me go “Awww….” And the word “courtly” comes to mind when I see Trip holding T’Pol’s hand that way.
Trip is getting anxious about the lack of communication from Archer, and T’Pol tries to provide some support using a hand on the shoulder. (I guess it worked so well in “The Forgotten that she decided to try it again.)
Trip notices that her skin doesn’t seem to be healing as quickly as his and jokes about Vulcans not being so tough
T’Pol seems a bit agitated by his remark and pulls her hand away telling Trip that Phlox says they should all be back to normal in a few days. Trip says he was only kidding, takes her hand again, and
tells T'Pol that she looks nice like that... sort of like an old oil painting.
T’Pol misunderstands,
says that she is not old and finally tells Trip her age.
Trip is surprised and says he can't believe T'Pol told him that.
T'Pol replies that Trip accused her of looking "old."
Trip wants to know shy she's telling him her age now.
And T’Pol can’t quite look at him as she admits that age is “intimate” information to Vulcans.
Trip repeats the word “intimate” and simply looks at T’Pol (speculatively) as he contemplates what T’Pol’s revelation may mean.
Nice continuity on this one. The scene works as a follow-up to the conversation in “E2” where T’Pol and Trip denied that they wanted an intimate/romantic relationship. Now T’Pol takes the step of revealing intimate information to Trip – perhaps an acknowledgement on her part that their relationship really is (or potentially could be) intimate in nature. And they also managed to resolve the issue of Trip teasing T’Pol about her age, which came up in seasons 1 and 2.
