I agree T&T are the one of the best ships ever in Trek. The only other one I like as much was B&T in Voyager. I think one of my fav eps was when Trip got her to admit she was Jealous

You're right...she does look more severe in that Augments scene. Even the hairstyle seems more severe than usual -- the bangs are brushed straight forward; whereas, in the "Daedalus" scene, they are slightly sideswept, which gives her a somewhat softer look.HopefulRomantic said:
Even the way T'Pol looks in The Augments is so severe, as if she's been deprived... emotionally starved. She's trapped in a marriage she doesn't want, Trip's been avoiding her, and she's been feeling lost, adrift, alone.
Yeah, one of the good things about TGTMD is that it picked up on a lot of the threads from “Terra Prime” and TATV but provided more character POV’s and insights, so the characters and their motivations seemed more fleshed out. I think the three main characters and especially T’Pol benefit from having that additional insight, so I hope to see it continued in the novels. In a way, it makes it easier to relate to them or at least better understand the rationale behind some of their actions and decisions.kalysto said:
Perhaps it's the Trip sympathizer in me, but that comment and a passage in TGTMD made me see T'Pol's side for once.
Yeah, unfortunately, the writers did establish a certain pattern with T/T, especially with T'Pol. At times, she seemed to only become proactive or take a step towards Trip when she felt that she had pushed him too far and/or was losing him…as seen in the Augments, Affliction, and even the Observer Effect bridge scene to some degree.Even though I did feel for her, I was always because she would only realize things when it was too late, or at least decide to act on them anyway. I know that's the point of angst and such, but I would of liked to see something deeper than the 'hot and cold' routine it seemed at times.

She still hasn't figured everything out yet (too bad), but at least, for the moment, she's not alone, and Trip isn't running away anymore. (Um, yet. Uh, again. Whatever.)

Yeah, I noticed that, too.kalysto said:
Was wondering if anyone else caught the little look Trip sent T'Pol's way in Horizon.
