Maybe the move out of Misc. has hurt recruitment. There seems to be a lot fewer folks signing up for the NCAA tournament pick'em as well. Perhaps a link in one's signature might get noticed by a few prospective players.
I hate to do this to you guys, but I have to back out from both leagues. Sorry.

I think Alpinemaps or one of the other guys in our Yahoo league was interested in playing in the keeper league, so he should get first shot at taking over Emh's franchise if he wants it.

Yep, AlpineMaps should get first shot, he's been at it a while and will keep it up. Shitty situation to walk into, though...
Only 2 weeks to go until the Yahoo drafts, and I think that means we need 2 for the NL and 4 for the AL still. Start getting pushy, folks. PM people, start threads in your lounges, let's go! We can't draft without filling the leagues, and we've got too many to combine into one. Would suck to have to cut the league down into one league of 14 instead of 2 leagues of 12, but since we've only got 18 out of 24 at the moment, that may be what we have to do unless we can get more people to play...

well, I've made appeals to the Admiral's Lounge and TNZ to try and get new players, both threads with ambiguous titles so hopefully people will at least give them a read, let's see if that does anything for us.

Yes. We've got 10 in one league right now (with EMH out), and 8 in the other. I wouldn't want to run a league with more than 14. Just too many people, it spreads the talent out too thin. Suppose you can look at it as a challenge, but when you're forced to use the 4th starter from the Royals, you know it's a problem. And forget waiver wire help, every active player above the Mendoza Line will be on someone's bench, at the very least...
^it may come down to that, and thanks to you and Rygel for stepping up and promising to maintain two teams, but hopefully we can get others to jump in first. BTW, which leagues are you two in right now?

I've got a team in the AL, and wouldn't mind at all upkeeping one in the NL too. Having to manage two TrekBBS teams won't phase me at all since I usually max out with the number of teams Yahoo allows you to have (4) anyways. 
As a matter of fact, last year, I managed 4 yahoo teams and the keeper one in the ESPN league. If you need me, I still have 1 yahoo spot left...

I looked at the NL league today and it looked like someone did sign up. EMH, there is no way we can change your mind? That really sucks, even though it's understandable.
