Yeah, we've got to lighten up on each other. We all love the show.
Paris gets in very hot water with Barry Atwater, in a control center that makes warm, fuzzy Enterprise bridge sounds.
Mission: Impossible, "The Field" (Jan. 23, 1971)
I just watched a wonderful documentary on Susan Oliver's life on Amazon Prime called "The Green Girl." Check it out if you can.
I suppose it bears belated mentioning that Decades has been running a Here Come the Brides Binge this weekend; as I recall has come up in the thread before, the show features three Trek alumni as main-credits regulars: Robert Brown, David Soul, and Mark Lenard.
Of course to many people "the Green Girl" means someone else, who if real could have been mundane and ordinary, or supernatural, or extraterrestrial.

Jason Evers, Don Pulford, Glenn Wilder in The Set-Up, an episode of The Streets of San Francisco!
Also on Amazon Prime, a documentary on 2001: A Space Odyssey ("Making of a Myth"). It opens with James Cameron introducing the topic while standing on Vasquez Rocks.
Persons of interest to Five-O in "F.O.B. Honolulu (Part 1)" (Jan. 27, 1971) include Soviet agent Roger C. Carmel...
...and counterfeit plate theft accomplice Sabrina Scharf...
Wanted: Dead or Alive, Season 1, "The Littlest Client." A twofer with barkeep Bill Schalert and drunken bum Tony Caruso (who gets cleaned up to reunite with his estranged daughter)..
^An interesting aside to that episode, after double-checking the cast for any Trek alumni I missed: The sweet, innocent little 15-year-old girl living with nuns was played by Ahna Capri, who 14 years later would play the deliciously evil femme fatale Tania in Enter The Dragon, who seduces John Saxon.
Paul Carr actually lives through the Wanted: DoA episode "The Conquerors."
^Forgot to mention - written by Fred Freiberger!
I'm not getting Forbin's images. Anyone else having this problem?
I'm not seeing them either, just a symbol and "IMG" in brackets.
I have to right-click and "view in another tab" to see them.
I guess it's a new problem, since I've been using the same host for something like 20 years. Nuts.
I can see them on my tablet, but not on my laptop.
The Feb. 1, 1971, episode of Rowan Martin's Laugh-In did a quick cocktail party gag about this series: "Y'know, ABC's really outdone themselves....This season they created a show called The Immortal, and thirteen weeks later it died."
Edit: OK, I found them.
Just caught Sherry Jackson and Kathie Browne sharing a scene in the 1963 episode of Perry Mason that MeTV is airing, "The Case of the Festive Felon".
