Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Also on Amazon Prime, a documentary on 2001: A Space Odyssey ("Making of a Myth"). It opens with James Cameron introducing the topic while standing on Vasquez Rocks.

Wanted: Dead or Alive, Season 1, "The Littlest Client." A twofer with barkeep Bill Schalert and drunken bum Tony Caruso (who gets cleaned up to reunite with his estranged daughter)..

^An interesting aside to that episode, after double-checking the cast for any Trek alumni I missed: The sweet, innocent little 15-year-old girl living with nuns was played by Ahna Capri, who 14 years later would play the deliciously evil femme fatale Tania in Enter The Dragon, who seduces John Saxon.

I guess it's a new problem, since I've been using the same host for something like 20 years. Nuts.

The finale episode of The Immortal featured James Sikking as the head of the orphanage where Ben grew up, and Michael Strong and Marj Dusay as a possible candidate for Ben's brother and his wife.
The Feb. 1, 1971, episode of Rowan Martin's Laugh-In did a quick cocktail party gag about this series: "Y'know, ABC's really outdone themselves....This season they created a show called The Immortal, and thirteen weeks later it died."

Just caught Sherry Jackson and Kathie Browne sharing a scene in the 1963 episode of Perry Mason that MeTV is airing, "The Case of the Festive Felon".

Bill Schallert shows up yet again in Wanted: Dead or Alive season 2, ep 15, "Chain Gang."

According to IMDB, Bill was in the show 4 times as different characters.

Finally got hold of the Honor Blackman seasons of The Avengers on some region 2 DVDs. The episode "Propellant 23" features Mrs. Macnee, Katherine Woodville!
