You can see the trailer here. It looks intriguing and, as usual, beautifully shot. Like Malick's other films I'm sure it will entrance some and bore others.

I think it looks beautiful and yes it does seem similar to "The Fountain" at least in a visual sense.

The only Malick film I've seen so far was The Thin Red Line (and that was so long ago that I really have no memory of it at all, so realistically it doesn't even count) but this trailer definitely has my interest piqued. Since it's distributed by Fox Searchlight, though, I wouldn't be surprised if I'll have to wait for a home video release, rather than getting a chance to see it in a theater.

Is this the companion piece to The Fountain?

Wouldn't bother me in the least if it was - I quite liked The Fountain.
