Blurb:
The conclusion to the epic trilogy that stretches from the earliest voyages of the Starship Enterprise to Captain Kirk’s historic five-year-mission—and from one universe to another—just in time for the milestone 50th anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series!

Eighteen years ago, the Starship Enterprise thwarted an alien invasion from another universe, and Captain Robert April took possession of the interdimensional transfer device that made it possible. Since then, each captain of the Enterprise, from Christopher Pike to James T. Kirk, has guarded this secret with his life.

Now, Romulan agents have succeeded in stealing the device and using it to banish Ambassador Sarek and Councillor Gorkon to an unknown realm in the midst of their groundbreaking Federation-Klingon peace negotiations. With time running out as interstellar war looms in one universe—and alien forces marshal in another—will Captain Kirk and his crew preserve the tenuous peace and reclaim the key between the dimensions?

According to the Chapters/Indigo website, this one is showing up in stores already, so I thought it might be a good time to get the review thread up. I don't have it yet, but two stores near me have it in, so hopefully soon! Really looking forward to reading the conclusion! :techman:

Picked this up tonight! Looking forward to diving into it this weekend...

Thanks to Ian, I know that copies have already shown up on shelves in at least one bookstore in Australia.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on my author copies.

FREAKING AUSTRALIA, MAN.

That's weird. Is the author usually the first person to get their books? I had always assumed you guys got your books before they showed up in stores.

I really liked the first two books in this series and can't wait for this one. But there are no book stores left in San Francisco that stock Trek books so I need to special order everything.

I really liked the first 2 books in this series I want to find how the story arc is wrapped up. This has been a great miniseries for the 50th anniversary.:techman:Bravo!

Rather uncharacteristically, two of the local B&Ns (the most convenient two, of course) physically have them, but are sitting on them as if they were the next J. K. Rowling hardcover.

I have encountered that from time to time at B&N before. Yet with this book, I reserved it on Thursday and bought it on Friday, without any issue.

About sixty pages in, but realized just now when I lined up all three books in the series that they each are one of the division colours of the uniforms. I'm so friggin' dense...!

...well you aren't the only one, it seems. Haha, nice, that didn't click for me either. :D

Got it, but in the middle of reading a fantasy series at the moment (Schooled in Magic by Christopher Nuttall), don't want to get my genres twisted so will be reading this after I've finished that. :)

Just finished it last night! An excellent and enjoyable read. I've mostly gravitated more towards Enterprise and post-Destiny novels, but this trilogy has been fantastic.

One small quibble:
I was a little thrown off when the Klingon captain was shown to be thinking about the Treaty of Algeron--which isn't signed until 2311! It's not a big thing but I threw me out of the story for a moment. Nothing too big, though.
