I'd prefer something more romantic... a story of eyes meeting across the ward, the doctor coming over to speak but then the nurse with the tea trolley comes through and gets in the way...

My God, Tora, You've had a run of it, haven't you? Your courage in the face of all that's happened to you is an inspiration.
You're in my thoughts and prayers ...
^I'm sure some do. But the health care providers are the ones who have a code of ethics that they're required to follow, not the patients. And, in the incident I referred to, the nurse was promptly fired.
Well, that was assault. I'm talking about people getting involved. And we had students and residents, who, being young, don't have the will power of more mature providers.^I'm sure some do. But the health care providers are the ones who have a code of ethics that they're required to follow, not the patients. And, in the incident I referred to, the nurse was promptly fired.
Life is crazy.
Hi Tora Ziyal,
I'm very late to this, but I'm wishing you the very best of luck and a lot of courage in this whole ordeal.
And rest assured, even in Belgium MD Anderson and MSKCC are known for their good reputations!
(ok, it helps that I work in the field and have collaborated with doctors from there)
