News TOMY Star Trek Diecast Ship Replicas

I wonder if that's TOMY's invention, or if that idea had been established some comic, tech manual, fan art, or other source. There isn't anything that looks like it on the Memory Beta list of Klingon shuttles, but that's not definitive.
I assume it's from somewhere, since TOMY doesn't seem like they'd do a completely original design. I had thought maybe it was from the old McMaster plans, since I think that's where the idea that the box on top of the D-7's engineering hull contained the hanger deck seems to have originated, but I checked my copy and there isn't a shuttlecraft design in them at all.

The TMP Enterprise apparently sold so well that they don't even seem to be crowd funding this Klingon model. This makes me think this will be available sooner rather than later.
---------------
I had the feeling the announcement was just to get people on the mailing list for the eventual crowdfunding - so that people don’t miss out, since for some reason TOMY tends to run a relatively short actual campaign.

Possibly, but those photos look like actual die-cast models, and not the plastic prototypes we've seen in the past.

I kind of hope they do crowd fund it, I don't think this one will sell as well. I think a Voyager model would do really well, people always underestimate its popularity!

I'm eagerly waiting for them to do the E-D, though I know it's going to cost more than the 3 done so far!
Wouldn't mind if they did the E-B or E-C but I have a feeling it will be something from earlier such as the original Romulan Warbird or the Reliant.

What would be cool, if they continue to be successful, would be if they branched out and were able to do something unexpected like the Botany Bay.

If the D7 sells well, why not the K'Tinga/Kronos duo? It will pair well with the TMP Enterprise and some people will want both looks. I'm torn right now as to which version of the D7 I'm going to buy (and I shudder at the thought that I might get both).

I’m leaning towards the purple/green one - but only if it’s $499 or less. Since it’s a little bit smaller and probably more simple to produce, the D7 seems like it should be cheaper than the Enterprises but I have the feeling that tariffs and a lower production run are going to make it end up about the same price.
