Toilet paper roll over or under?

Well, the title about says it all. Do you prefer your toilet paper put on so the roll hangs over, or under?

I have noticed that women tend to do it under, while men do it over. I have no idea why anyone would do it under, though. It makes it so much harder to grab.

I live alone, so I usually don’t bother with the toilet paper hanger. I just keep a roll on top of the tank.

Over. Far easier to find the end of the roll, especially if you get up in the middle of the night and don't want to turn on a light.
