Under for me, over for my wife. Fortunately for me she somehow never manages to put a new roll on, so I get my way.

Although I prefer over, whenever my girlfriend replaces the roll it is under. Just like others have mentioned above. Huh!
It is interesting how several comments have been made that unruly children and pets can unroll the toilet paper more easily if the roll is over. So I guess it might all go back to the household we grew up in and if the kids and pets were out of control with regards to the T.P.?
Maybe in general Moms are being vigilant and proactive and guys have the little boy inside them that still wants badly to spin that roll fast, even if they don't do it!
