TNG fans please identify yourselves ...

Hello! I'm Melissa, I'm 25 and from Littleton, Colorado.
I consider myself a re-born again Trekkie as I was a die-hard Trek fan until I got to high school and my obsession faded. It has returned again and I am very glad to be back
I grew up on TNG and while I love Voyager most, TNG is a very, very close second for me. My fav characters from TNG are Troi and Data, with Picard and Riker following.
Besides that I work for a local Sheriff's office and I am a full time college student at Metro State majoring in Criminal Justice. I read, draw, disc-golf, play softball, hike, camp, and atv on a regular basis.
TNG set a new standard for Star Trek and they did an amazing job! I enojoyed all 7 seasons of TNG and their proceeding films.

Hey, MiralParis, I like your avatar! I'm a diehard TNG fan, even with its flaws, like the uneven first and second seasons, Wesley as wunderkind, and the, at times, missed opportuniites with Troi and Geordi.
My favorite characters are Picard, Data, Worf and Riker, in that order. Least favorite: Wesley, Beverly, and Yar. Most unfulfilled potential: Troi and Geordi.
I may start a thread asking what everyone would have done differently with TNG if they were charged with how its characters developed.

New to this forum--I didn't feel I had the right to pop in until I had seen more eps (some for the first time, many for the second/third/fourth). I've been following SciFi's marathon for two weeks now, and finally felt comfortable saying hello.
Man, I was too young when this first aired to really see how frustratingly idiotic Riker is in the first two seasons. I have a newfound love for Data, and Q is still my fave Trek character ever.
Like some others, I mourned the passing of this show...and to this day I still have backlash against DS9 because it was the show that followed TNG (it could have been nearly anything and I would have hated it... "there is no Trek but TNG" was my mantra for years).

My name is Stephen Renouard, I'm 27 years old, and apparently the love of Star Trek is coded into my DNA. My parents are die hard. I love all things Star Trek, but TNG is special to me. I remember sitting down as a family to watch the first episode if TNG in '87! It was a big deal! At that point, you could only watch TOS, TAS and four movies! By far, my favorite TNG character is Q, followed closely by Picard. I really wish I was in possession of a pic of me as a kid wearing my command red first season TNG PJ's! I also have a thing for collecting those tiny Furuta Star Trek Starships, and managed to save most of the starship models I made as a child. By the way, I've made sure my 19 month old son LOVES Star Trek, and it drives my wife insane! Love it! All hail Star Trek!

Greetings! I'm Dave, and I've been a Trek fan since I was 4(my dad started watching TNG after I was born. He'd videotape it and watch it while taking care of me). Then I started watching TNG with him, and never looked back. I even remember watching the first episode of DS9 with him when it first aired.
I recently started watching Trek again when I found all the seasons on sale for $20 each (TOS, TNG and DS9), so I've been watching a lot of Trek. TNG being my favourite, followed by DS9 and TOS. I even like the first two seasons of TNG

Hello, I'm Supernuke. I'm new ont his board, so I thought I'd introduce myself! I'm 19 years old and have loved TNG my whole life. My Dad is a huge fan, and has all of them taped. Although I was born in between the 2nd and 3rd season, when i was old enough, 3 or 4, I would sit with my family and watch the new ones that came on.
