TNG fans please identify yourselves ...

Greetings folks! I'm new around these parts.

As a child of the 90s who was usually bouncing off the walls, but the one thing that could actually keep me still was watching TNG. Some of my calmest, happiest memories are of being completely glued to the TV, lost in the adventures of the Enterprise.

Picard hooked me first, that mix of dignity, intellect and steel made him the kind of captain you secretly wish was your real-life mentor. Data also completely captured my imagination with the way he explored humanity from the outside, making every little social misstep weirdly relatable. And anything with Q was an instant highlight for me, those episodes felt like the universe itself was knocking on the hull just to mess with the crew, teach them and ask big questions at the same time.

TNG holds a special place in my heart. I don’t think I’ll ever find a show that beats the way it makes me feel, but I’m always on the lookout.
