I suspect such is not within your pipeline, but I would be intrigued to see how you'd depict a Caitian in your Tiny Trek style.

After this first story arc I'm going to be changing up my characters a bit for the newer generation so the look is going to shift to a more pixar look from the current unintentional bratz look.

I've been toying with changing up or adding crew members as the comic moves along. No reason I can't add a Caitian to the mix. And I could do up one in the current and new style. Won't be showing up for a while though within the story but I could do up a few renders.

Aww...I like the "Bratz" style as you call it using "The GIRL" for Genesis 3. I was kinda' bummed when DAZ opted to veer away from Gooshen's design with Victoria 8. (I wonder if the rights for "The GIRL" reverted to Gooshens and DAZ no longer can sell that likeness?)

I remember in the mid 00s when somebody posted a render of Gooshen's original sculpt upon the DAZ forums. The members went ape sh*t! They craved for DAZ to work out a deal. Time passed and so some alternatives appeared like Alexa at PoserPros and DAZ's own "GIRL" quasi look-alike freebie. Gooshen and DAZ finally agreed upon a contract and she appeared in the store. As a result, the freebie DAZ once offered got tweaked so it no longer looked like Gooshen's work. Alexa was eventually "pulled" for unrelated legal issues. "The GIRL" started as a stand-alone figure, but her face was incorporated as an add-on product for the next several generations of base female figures.

Still, my preferences should NOT dictate what you wish to do in the future. I just wanted to let you know I like what you have so far done.

I really do like the look but it lends itself more to the pinup sort of thing and while I wanted a more toon look for the comic either way, after doing the pages for a while now, I wanted to try shifting to a more pixar look which I've always liked instead of the Betty Boop / Bratz look. That and every time I load up a new character I don't have to immediately shrink the boobs the widen the waist which believe it or not makes the uniforms fit terribly until I tweak them again.

I have tried to preserve some of the characters facial looks, at least the ones I've featured so far anyway, into the new characters. While these characters are for Challenger (takes place after my planned Arcs for Aries), here's a few quick examples:

Challenger's Captain and XO (when I get to the point of having enough internal Challenger sets built to use it)

And then a mix of male and female toons on the bridge (again Challenger though, not Aries, Challenger is after Aries.

I don't have any renders of the new Aries versions done up in their ship just yet. Been working on the opening teaser for story arc number 2.

I imagine there's a list of reasons people would still need glasses besides Retinox, but something along those lines

Yes. I'm a former band geek. No, I didn't play the guitar. Some piano, a little trumpet, I really wanted to learn french horn but was denied, and finally Tuba was what I was saddled with. Yes I'm full of hot air. No I wasn't strong enough to lug that damned thing around :P No I didn't continue with it out of high school. The appreciation for it and music continues though

Pretty sure this isn't how I'll do her playing going forward, but I was trying to do something I hadn't done before with this.

The link to the music is great. I'm not musically inclined so I wouldn't of got it I think it would've been fun to have her attempt to sing to herself. The slow pullback is also nice too.

I was going to be mean and not include that but then I realized how rusty I am at reading sheet music and put the link in LOL

She's too respectful of the music to butcher it with her vocals even alone in her cabin

Thunderstruck when she's really angry. When she can't sleep though she likes to keep it to deeper power ballads and such
