First off, forgive me if this is already here somewhere and I just didn't find it.
Second, I loved this episode. In fact, I like ALL the MU episodes.
Now, on to my question.
In the beginning of this episode Miles O'Brian(smiley) pulls a phaser on Sisko right in the middle of Ops, then beams away with him. Now, for the story, this is important because thats how Sisko got taken to the Mirror Universe.
What I don't get is why NO ONE DID A THING.
There was a Bajoran officer he stood right next to for a second that could have disarmed him.
He was vulnerable when he was crouched over the console, presumably reconfiguring it to beam them to the MU.
Yet no one lifted a finger. How is it even conceivable that these trained officers wouldn't do something to keep their commanding officer from being taken away?
But, minor quibble. I still loved the episode.
