Threshold in my eyes is guilty of nothing more than being a big inconsistent pool of nonsense and making spectacularly bad references to science. Which I don't mind, since I watch Trek mainly to be entertained and this one sure is a lot more entertaining than some cliched, boring 'average' episodes in which you know exactly what's going to happen and how 10 minutes in. In a sense it's so bad it's good. But in my book, it's nowhere near the 'worst of Trek', which I reserve for episodes I actually take offense to - there is nothing in this episode that triggers me in that way.
