Poor choice of words or GREAT choice of words depending on who you ask.
I would have paid extra to see that in 3D.
Mads Mikkelson drops out of Thor 2.
That's too bad, he would have been a major coup.
And we have a title, The Dark World.
Cool title. I'm glad they're using subtitles with the Thor and Cap sequels. I hate bland numerical titles.
Interesting title. Obviously WAY better than Thor 2.
What is this "Dark World" they refer to? It is another realm? Is it Asgard without the bifrost? Is it a reference to the end of our world?
It could be a reference to Svartalfheim, the home of the Dark Elves. Malekith, a member of Thor's rogues gallery, is the king of the Dark Elves.
I think it's safe to say this title's not as informative the Cap 2 one.
For some reason, "The Dark World" makes me think of the black galaxy (birthplace of Ego the Living Planet). I doubt they're going there, but it's part of Thor mythos and Marvel cosmic.
More likely that we'll have the Algrim story with Enchantress changing him into Kurse instead of the Beyonder.
Interesting, the sub-title is mysterious yet instantly has you thinking.
^ Unlike Cap 2's subtitle, which tells you a lot with three words.
True. They giveth and they also concealeth.
Little bit of this, little bit of that.
This is from the Wiki article about the sequel.
Seems highly likely. This is an update with a shaker of salt perhaps but if true lends heavy credence to Skywalkers post.
Not to be too fussy, but I'm going to go ahead and assume stunt-people who elves are silly in a post-LOTR, post-Avatar world is already not "self-aware."
Location and a description of a scene. Apparently, the movie is using the working title (or probably more accurately, "decoy title") of "Thursdays's Morning"
The Ninth Doctor checks into Svartalfheim, Christopher Eccleston plays the leader of the Dark Elves, Malekith, who I can't say I'm familiar with at all...but very cool casting!
Separate names with a comma.
