Tom Riker, Will Riker's transport clone. This poor b@srard got the rawest deal. First he's stranded for 8 years; then, after learning a double has basically "stollen" his entire life, he sets out to create a new one for himself, fights for a cause he believes in, and ends up imprisoned again, this time in a Cardassian concentration camp. Much like Tasha Yar, it seems the universe just really likes to f@ck with poor Tom.
Bar the novels, which contradict each other and aren't canon, we don't know Tom Riker's fate. I'd love for him to pop up on "Picard." Sure, he'll be a retired workshop Santa like his counterpart Will, but I'll bet he'd have some interesting stories to tell.
If Tom Riker does return, what do you think his role and backstory should be?
