this is not good. In hospital.

just back from having a ct scan, went well not a drop of blood in sight, the got back to the ward and started coughing again. I'm getting so sick of it. Wish there was some way to just stop.
Yeah, that must be maddening. I hope it stops soon. Good to hear the CAT scan went well, though.

i've spent most of the night in broken not very good sleep, but at least i'm getting some sleep. I've only coughed up a couple of lots of blood since yesterday afternoon, perhaps it's coming to an end. One can only hope *fingers crossed*

still not sleeping great, to much pain and discomfort in my left leg/lower back to get comfortable and just sleep. So up before 6 again this morning. don't know why i've got this pain though though it seems to be that last bit the painkillers won't take away.

Could it be as easy as your body is tired of laying down? *stupid simple minded..* I had that problem when I was hospitalized for 8 days a few years back.

Could you ask for one of those fancy orthopaedic beds which you can adjust to different positions?

well all my results are ok, clear on the heart infection. Just looks like my blood is infected. Which is getting better apparently. But now they're saying 6 weeks, which has me on the verge of tears. I can't stand the thought of that long, 4 weeks seemed far too long for me anyway.

So sorry Skutter... the time will fly by, you'll see. Just spam up the tbbs non-stop, it'll take your mind off things, occupy your mind with useless things for a while... :p :)

Be thankful hospitals have internet access now, I remember when they didn't! Such a dark time that was.

They must be able to give you a better bed for that length of time. I feel for you Bob. I hated being forced to stay in hospital and I wasn't that ill.

At least it looks like it isn't endocarditis, which is good news, Bob. I still think this could all be part of the pneumonia, but now there's a clear plan for you.

Keep thinking good thoughts, and hang on in there. :)

just put 24 hours on the Patientline how useless is that? Couldn't log on here, or a lot of other places. It doesn't have Bbc four so i'll miss the show I was gonna watch tonight. What a waste of money.

If it's Breaking the Mould it'll be on iPlayer Bob.

Didja see me being you on the TV forum?
