so after around a week of thinking I had swine flu and a course of tamiflu i've ended up in hospital with suspected streptococle pnumonia, and they're querying endocarditis.

I am not happy, but until they started talking about endocarditis I wasn't too worried, now i'm all scared and depressed.

If it does turn out to be endocarditis it'll be 6 weeks minimum, and really don't do well with extended hospital stays.

Eh, what choice do you have? If you have to stay in the hospital then so be it, just try to make the most out of it. You'll make friends pretty easily in a hospital, misery loves company, and just think of a few years down the road, if you meet a new friend you'll have a great common story background that you'll share with the friend forever.

I can be cool if you don't beat yourself up. I hope you do get better even though I don't know you, but just try to make the best of it, you never know what might happen.

Oh crap. I hope that's not the case. I had to stay in the hopsital for 8 days following a surgery to remove a tumor from my spine when I was 17. Not fun.
