Same here. And I appreciate a good pun. I'm not a vegan/vegetarian by any stretch of the definition, but if someone did that around me, I could see it... gnawing at me.
Not Onestream is it?. At one point I got it to point at Edge for a few months, but this last week, it seems insistent on opening up Internet Explorer again
Just got an email that said FedEx delivered a package. Peek outside and see nothing. Was it stolen or misdelivered? No, the email was for something that was delivered on Monday.
Apparently Amazon is stopping the Amazon Smile program, which really sucks, because this means a lot of charities out there will now missing out on thousands of dollars a year.
But think of the 4th richest man in the world, he used to be #1! He needs those thousands of dollars back to make ends meet!
And if it screws over a few hundred or thousand people who have devoted their lives to doing something good, like saving animals, or helping people, then I guess that's too bad for them.
Their sacrifice is for a worthy cause: Increasing a hundred billionaire's net worth. In a related note, it cost me $8.50 for some sandwich meat today. I'm glad to know that despite this terrible inflation my grocery store has no control over, that they reported a 30% increase in profits last quarter.
Yeah, my mom follow Rob Reich on IG and she says this whole financial situation is driving crazy, because accoring to him there is no real inflation, and all the rising prices are just about the companies making excuses to squeeze more money out of people.
Last night I got a pimple right below by bottom lip and this morning it's swollen! I had to look it up to see if the pimple was the cause and it was. I didn't even know that was a thing! So now my bottom lip is constantly dry and hurts. I guess this is just something I have to deal with for the next couple days.
Good grief... The older I get, the more sensitive my allergies get. I'm allergic to pollen. I'm allergic to cats. I'm allergic to dogs now (Wasn't always). I'm allergic to dust. Get that. I'm allergic to dust, in my own place, where I live alone. Clean behind my own couch, and I'm miserably stuffed up & irritated for at least a couple days. If this trend continues, by the time I'm geriatric, I'll be allergic to air.
The only thing I was allergic to growing up was wasps. Then, in my late 20's, I ended up in an ongoing, stressful situation and over the years I developed 18 different allergies in response to it. Now I'm allergic to so much stuff that's everywhere all year round I take a twice daily nasal prescription corticosteroid and asthma inhaler.
I thought Greg Giraldo was joking when he mentioned "rain sensing windshield wipers" in one of his bits. Then I go to the carwash and I find out that they actually are a thing. WHAT THE FUCK? Are people so ing LAZY that they can't make a small motion with their arm to turn on the ing wipers? You're expecting an organization that literally treats its warehouse workers like slaves, to be charitable in any way?
/\Are people so ing LAZY that they can't make a small motion with their arm to turn on the ing wipers Well, a lot of drivers(or at least the ones around here)are too lazy to use their turn signals ..
In Miami, it's actually rare to see anyone use a turn signal. INCLUDING THE COPS! (And no, they aren't driving with the lights and siren on... in regular drive mode, they don't bother using turn signals. How the hell are you supposed to uphold laws if you can't abide by them yourselves?!) The ONLY drivers that I see consistently use signals are truckers.
Came here to say this. Just a dick move, regardless of my personal views on the animals. Well, it's both, from what I have been reading. Companies trying to maximize profit while pushing their increased costs to the consumer. It's not anything new; it's just damn frustrating. Yes, yes they are.
That is a good point. Apparently they will still donate to some charities, it'll just be ones that "make a big impact" that they choose themselves. Which is still kind of shitty, because it means that they're still screwing over small charities who literally beg for just $1 donations, in favor of charities who probably don't really need that much help.
Yep. Turned that off in the menu in my car. I think they recommend having it off in certain scenarios anyway and I'll switch it on when I need to. As others have mentioned above, there a lot of people who don't seem to realise what turn signals/indicators are for. There are also some who don't seem to realise what headlights are for our leave foglights on constantly.
My pet peeve is people who don't turn on their headlights. I think they get lured into the sense they're on because of daytime running lights. (Of course the other day, I momentarily turned off my auto-headlights and later was partway down the road when I realized I hadn't turned it back on. Giving myself 30 lashes!)
