What have you learned via this bbs? Trek things, people things, metaphysical things, whatever.
I learned recently mainly from (Therin of Andor) that "canon" in Star Trek (the live-action, screened stuff) means "unable to be contradicted by licensed tie-ins"; but that writers of canonical shows and movies MAY draw from such tie-ins including TAS. And MAY contradict previous canon, if it makes for a good script. A pretty unrestrictive (we might even say loose) canon. Fascinating, Captain.
I also learned that some people equate big box office with a film's being "good." (Not that it WASN'T. I'm just saying I noticed this.)
I learned what many TOS titles allude to, thanks to C. Bennett.
Okay, your turn. What have you learned from TrekBBS?
