Funny you should mention NCIS-N.O., as I just watched the latest ep on DVR....one of the characters made a comment to Bakula's character "Did you ever see the Star Trek episode when Kirk gets drunk on Saurian brandy?" And Bakula just rolls his eyes! It was a nice little shoutout...my son didn't understand the reason I found it so funny.

That reminds me of the episode of The A-Team, where 'The Face' (or 'Starbuck' from the original BSG) was standing in the Universal Studios set and came across a guy wearing a Cylon suit from BSG. He stopped for a moment and looked at the Cylon and then walked away. It's cool when they give a little props to previous shows.

I thought that bit was staged specifically for the opening titles. I never saw that in an actual episode. Must have been first-season. Cool.
