They sure are taking their sweet time with Season 5

I know that sort of thing isn't totally unusual for British TV, but I didn't really expect Star Trek: Enterprise to take the Red Dwarf approach to things. Is there going to be a time jump at the start of Season 5 to explain why all of the actors have aged so much? Are they just waiting for all of the actor's schedules to open up or something?

They're trying to get the scripts *just so*. When it finally airs, it'll be the most perfect season of Trek, ever! ;)

Oh! I got it! Maybe they're saving the Romulan War for the NuTrek movies, and so they need to skip that period of time on Ent.

I think they've got to wait for Bakula to finish his side project on NCIS New Orleans.

NCIS shows typically run for what, 15 years or so ?

^ The other issue is that Enterprise was a network show, so they're just waiting until UPN resolves that little problem they're having of not existing anymore.

But once these minor troubles are worked out, it's all systems go! :techman:

It took them 23 years to finally start production of season three of Battlestar Galactica. Just give it some time.

:)

First they must erase TATV from existence. The Department of Temporal Investigations is working on it but it seems the hate build up for TATV has created a ripple hate effect that is proving hard to vanish out of fandom. TATV's long brown skid mark on the universe.

:guffaw::guffaw: Teacake..you just won the internet today!

TATV is a fixed moment in time. The Doctor, Doc Brown, Rip Hunter and Randall can't dislodge it.

Send in the Suliban!

Actually I can imagine that as an interesting episode, the Suliban crawling around the ship unseen during the events of TATV, trying to change events and prevent the suffering of generations of Trek fans.

^ Oh, yeah. I can even see the final scene now...
