They Deserved More Screen Time

Rain Robinson, as played by Sarah Silverman.

Apparently, there was talk of adding her to the Voyager crew as a regular. That would have been so great . . ..

(I always thought she had more chemistry with Paris in two episodes than B'Elanna did in the entire series.)

Very true.

^But could they maintain that chemistry for ther remainder of the show?

Possibly if the writting was there.

Ah good. Another fan.

I liked the way you made her Roberta Lincoln's assistant at the end of book two of Eugenics Wars. A story of a Lincoln and Robinson adventure would be interesting.

The dog from The Enemy Within. Come on, that thing's adorabibble!!!

I wish Khan had been a recurring villain.

More of Sarek (or Romulan Commander) in TOS would have been good.

Wasn't there talk of making Kor a recurring? I would have liked that.

Charlene Masters too.

Ro Laren for sure.
Robin Lefler
Kevin Riley
The original Voyager crew (killing or seriously injuring them over a few episodes would have been more fun)
Chell and the other Maquis noobs.
Vash
Saavik
Kes - they should have kept her around until after Year of Hell to close the temporal loop in a more sensible way.
Ann Mulhall - she was a pretty cool proper female scientist
and of course Yeoman Rand.

When I look at the list I do think it shows that Trek's history of developing its female characters fully has been very patchy. Some of the actresses simply weren't avaialable though.

I agree on Dr. M'Benga. I know that in the 60's, they really wanted to focus on the Big Three. But it would have been interesting to see him consulted more.
