They Deserved More Screen Time

The surviving Equinox crew. Tom Riker. The cute ensign who flirted with Will Riker in the TNG pilot episode.

Tomalok

Barclay in episodes that weren't about him.

Ogawa

Bolian captain from "Conspiracy"

The Dehlany sisters

Yeoman Tonia Barrows from SHORE LEAVE.

the purple haired freighter captain from DS9

Kevin Riley was always one of my favorite "secondary" characters. In retrospect, I'm still surprised he didn't become more of a presence on the show.

And in his honor, I shall render Kathleen ONE MORE TIME......!!

I agree with this one!
Dr Helen Noel and Yeoman Tanya Barrows.
Why should be obvious.
...and the latter half of this one! (for the same reason! ...obviously, just because our backs are a little tight)

I agree that more Kevin Riley would be cool.

While WNMHGB works perfectly well as-is, I wonder how much it would up the stakes if we'd gotten to see Gary Mitchell as Kirk's friend and a normal member of the crew for several episodes before the episode happened.

I still want a Gary Seven/Roberta Lincoln tv series.

I think this idea for a television series would be very satisfying to this day. A human, raised on a far-away planet, returned to save the planet from itself with his trusty side-kick. A more light-hearted 24, perhaps!

Just finished "The Search" and lamenting the fact that we never get to see Sub-Commander T'Rul again. I feel sorry for Martha Hackett, she gets characters I like but who they never make great use of (or kill off).

A few years back Robert Patrick and Lisa Kudrow would have made a good 7/Roberta. Now, I don't know.

I'm thinking about the original crew of Voyager - the first officer, the doctor, chief engineer, Sotty (or whatever her name was) ... We got about 2-3 minutes with some of them, and then ah, they're dead, let's forget they were ever there and merge the ships.

I'd have liked at least 2-3 episodes with them, get to know them, and then the shock of their deaths might have actually meant something. Instead, they were just redshirts.

I guess my screen name should let you know who I think needed more screen time

Seriously, given the connection between Ensign Garrovick and Captain Kirk, it would have been nice for him to be something more than a redshirt-of-the-week (one of the few who didn't get killed on the show).

I know there were some references to him in TrekLit over the years, but that hardly qualifies as screen time...

If you mean the original pilot i think her name was 'Stadi'
