The Wizards versus the "Muggles"

That's the rationale in those books at least. I think I always subconsciously applied it to the Harry Potter books, too.

I almost mentioned it, but then someone posted something that reminded me that in HP it was said that the witch trials and such were singularly ineffective at finding actual witches, since they could cast a simple spell that would, for instance, render them invulnerable to flame while they were being burned at the stake. So unless that was some kind of white-wash to keep from traumatizing the kiddies, and when Hogwarts students got older they found out how dangerous muggles could really be, the Dresden explanation can't apply to the other wizard called Harry.

And yet here you are whining and bitching. Go figure.

Do you even know the meanings of the words you use?
Sure do. Your obliviousness to your own behavior has little to do with vocabulary, though.

"Whaa, oh my God, you guys are so nitpicky! So what if I said something that was not only completely stupid but flat-out wrong? I was just joking because, clearly, I'm too super smart to ever be wrong! Whaa! So when I am wrong, it's just a joke! GOD! Get over it you Internet nerds, of which I'm not even though I'm in a thread whining and bitching over wizards fighting a war with muggles! WHAAAAAAA!"
