The weird totally not you spam you get

Don't you ever wonder why the hell some spem gets sent to you? I mean some things liek nigerian money scams, ads for sex pills and the odd flirtbot everyone gets, but you ever get some that reeeaaalllllyyyy isn't you?

Me I get two specific ones regularly, one is from this waaaay rightwing Republican site. And I'm a pretty liberal guy. The other one is from some really really Catholic site. And I'm not religious, and definetly not Catholic.

These do seem to be real sites though so sometimes I wonder if someone who doesn't like me have signed me up for them, to torment me. Except all it does is give a me a good laugh really.

I get, for some very strange reason, emails trying to sell me pills to enlarge my breasts. This is a little worrying for two reasons, firstly mine are already ample and secondly I'm a guy.

This isn't email related but it still isn't me. I get junkmail at home advising they can save me at least £150 on my car insurance. As I can't drive, I find this very hard to believe - and annoying.

I get real life 3-D spam every time I go to Game Stop. Mind you, I frequent the same local store. I only ever buy DS games that could be construed as very wimpy (Pheonix Wright, Crosswords DS, Sims- I have bad coordination, O.K.?) and they always ask me at the check out if I want to pre-order Call of Duty: Faulklands or whatever FPS is about to come out. Dude. I'm buying Fashion Designerz here. Take the mental leap.

I can honestly say that I didn't know if I even get any spam any more, but this question had me look in the Trash, and apparently I have gotten a few weird ones containing nothing but anonymous links and weird subjects like: "Christina Aguilera's dildo discovered at airport scan.", "Jennifer Love Hewitt's nude beach photos!" and "Hi! This is Sheila. Sweet babes go wild with animals."

I believe those first two names mentioned belong to either pop stars or actresses but who is Sheila?

I used to get a lot of spam about getting green cards. I'm really not sure why, but it stopped a couple years ago and I haven't seen any since. Of course, now they'll probably start up again, knowing my luck.

I get almost-daily notices that I'm a Big Winner in the UK Lottery or sometimes the Irish National Lottery. I like the forms they use, where they ask for my birthday and then my age...those guys won't let anything get past them. I also responded to the standard Nigerian scam a few weeks ago with "HELLO SIR I AM VERY MUCH INTERESTED IN YOUR CLEARLY VERY LEGITIMATE BUSINESS OFFER!!!!!!!!!" and the guy thought I was serious and sent me more "information"...I let it go after that, not wanting to be murdered in my sleep over an imaginary prince or something.
