Jadzia: The longer the Klingons are here, the worse things are going to get. Whatever you decide to do, you'd better do it soon.

 

[Brian]

SISKO: Curzon told me once that in the long run, the only people who can really handle the Klingons are Klingons. Get me Starfleet Command.

 

[Leandar]

(Later, a shuttle docks along with a man in shiny boots as the camera pans up to reveal Worf still in his TNG uniform)

O'Brien: Commander Worf!

 

[Mark de Vries]

WORF: Chief. It has been a long time.

 

[Brian]

O'BRIEN: Too long. Welcome aboard.

 

[Enterprise1981]

QUARK (waiting for a disembarking passenger): Just what the station needs. Another Klingon.

(to a Bajoran stepping out of the airlock) Over here.

 

[Leandar]

(Sisko's office, Worf enters)

Worf: Lieutenant Commander Worf reporting for duty, sir.

 

[Brian]

SISKO: It's good to have you aboard, Commander.

 

[LeadHead]

Worf: Thank You Sir.

 

[Enterprise1981]

SISKO: At ease, Mr. Worf.

 

[Brian]

SISKO continues: I was sorry to hear about the Enterprise. She was a good ship.

WORF: Yes, sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko signals that Worf Sit down

Sisko: I understand that you've been on extended leave.

 

[Enterprise1981]

WORF: Yes. I have been visiting the Klingon monastery on Boreth. I found my discussion with the clerics there most enlightening.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: Well, I'm sorry to take you away from your studies, but I doubt that this assignment will take very long.

 

[Enterprise1981]

WORF: My leave was almost over.

 

[Brian]

SISKO: Do you have any idea where you'll be stationed next?

 

[Enterprise1981]

WORF: I am considering resigning my commission.

 

[Brian]

SISKO: Really? May I ask why?

 

[LeadHead]

Worf: I have spent most of my life among humans. It has not always been easy for me. And since the destruction of The Enterprise, it has become even more difficult. I am no longer sure I belong in this uniform.
