KAYBOK (looks to his right to order his gunner to stand down): P'tek'im strom! (to Sisko) Gowron will hear of this.

 

[Brian]

DAX: I'm receiving a hail from the Xhosa. It's Captain Yates.

 

[Mark de Vries]

SISKO: Put her through.

 

[LeadHead]

Kassidy: (on screen) Captain, I don't know what you said to those Klingons, but it must have been good.

 

[Leandar]

Sisko: Is everyone all right?

 

[LeadHead]

Kassidy: (on screen) Everyone is fine.

 

[Leandar]

Sisko: I'm glad to hear it. We'll keep you on sensors as long as we can, but I doubt the Klingons will give you any more trouble.

 

[LeadHead]

Kassidy: (on viewscreen) I appreciate that Captain. I'll see you in about 2 weeks.

 

[Leandar]

Sisko: You know where to find me.

 

[LeadHead]

Back at the Station, Sisko and Dax sit in Sisko's office.

Dax: According to our Long-Range Sensors, the Klingon Task Force has withdrawn to just outside Bajoran Territory.

 

[Leandar]

Sisko: So now they're in unclaimed space. And if they decide to continue searching ships...

 

[Mark de Vries]

DAX: There's nothing we can do about it unless they try to stop a Federation or Bajoran vessel.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: Which so far they haven't done.

 

[Mark de Vries]

O'BRIEN (OC): Captain, General Martok is here to see you.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: Send him in.

Martok enters

Ah, General. We need to talk.

 

[Brian]

*thunk*

MARTOK: Sohk vad.

 

[Leandar]

(Martok leaves and Jadzia walks over and picks up the dagger)

Jadzia: It's Commander Kaybok's.

 

[Brian]

SISKO: Why did he give it to me?

 

[Leandar]

Jadzia: He's letting you know Kaybok's dead. Martok probably had him executed for disobeying orders.
