I have to say the criticism for the show is a little over the top. Sure, the characters are acting really stupid and saying really dumb things, but that doesn't mean the show is agreeing with them. They are acting like teenagers, and presumably will have a coming of age experience soon when some of them die...This show is not really about the WD world at all. According to what I'm hearing from friends who watch this, the WD is merely a backdrop (franchise hook) for stories they were never going to (or could) explore on the parent series.Never a strong motive for launching a spin-off.

^^^(And i mean a production made by Bollywood people, but sans the musical/dance numbers; or the producers of Peninsula making something, but without THOSE type of zombies)
I almost snapped at you to spoiler code that. One of them will die and become Zombified, yet somehow retain their human personality, and become involved in a tragic, angst-ridden romance with one of the others.
That movie already exists...One of them will die and become Zombified, yet somehow retain their human personality, and become involved in a tragic, angst-ridden romance with one of the others.
And it was really good, too! That movie already exists...
This week's was one of the better episodes, mainly for the glimpse into Huck's background we got. But the show's storyline really is plodding along at a glacial pace. Kind of reminds me of criticisms I remember hearing about Walking Dead itself in the early years, that it's just folks having conversations in the woods or talking about their pasts in between brief fight scenes. Except with this show, that's literally what it is.
Well, they had advertised that from the get go, and the pandemic kinda made that choice a bit easier.Looks like season 2, which will be the last of this spinoff, is on.
These showrunners really hate the military huh? Terrible portrayal in Fear and now even worse in World Beyond.
