Well, they're still not as evil as the main characters on the spinoff show.
I stopped watching after the 3rd episode.

Viruses can be vegetative, ie, inserted in a host genome but not active, and then you could postulate that an infusion of fresh, active viruses sets the whole thing off. Could work that way.
But virues still can't make a dead body work. That death is the other trigger for walkerization makes no sense, as the body is now useless to any host organism outside of those that simply feed on it. Morpheus' nanomachines could work, though, as they presumably would get their energy from some outside source (solar powered?).
paralyze enemy troops by shutting down their neuro system for six to seven hours. We didn't think it would mutate. Come on, this would have allowed us to capture people without killing them.It was intended to save lives.
It proves the audience--a group spending time trying to predict every event of the TV series, and complaining when it does not fit their theories--were wrong to think the producers were just milking the emotion/notoriety surrounding the comic death, and will actually follow through. If they do kill Glenn, it will silence the "fake out" crowd, while firmly sending the message that next to no character from the "A team" is safe.
I don't need some stupid explanation for the virus. There's literally nothing that could satisfy anyone. TWD is gaining more viewers every season. I guarantee next year's premiere will be sky high. There's not going to be a mass exodus over a cliffhanger the internet collectively decided to hate for a week.
Yeah but at this point with the fake outs with Glenn I don't think anyone really cares anymore. Well I don't anyway. If Glenn dies I won't bat an eye and honestly don't care anymore. The show will supposedly be going to a mourning mode after the first episode next season. Yeah that ought to be a barrel of laughs. I honestly think TWD is running out of tricks because as we all know the comic will never end and for a TV show to just keep going non stop like a soap opera is going to really bore the audience especially now that the producers say they are never planning on letting us know what started the zombie virus and that there isn't going to be any type of cure.

Well that is kind of a downer. Lost and BSG had storylines that reached some sort of logical conclusion. I'll be disappointed if TWD keeps rehashing the same thing over and over until, what, a 65 year old Rick is leading the last handful of survivors, fighting off yet another group of crazy hillbilly bikers? Bleh..
Does anyone not realy care who is the one that got whacked by Lucille. I am really losing interest in this show quickly. The supposed heroes(Original survivors) are really just as bad as the black hats. How is Negan killing one survivor in Ricks group with a bat really anymore evil then Rick shooting people in the head just because they won't give him information, killing people in their sleep or shooting at a guy and trying to kill him just for looking for his horse? I was actually rooting for Negan at the end of the episode after all the evil that Rick has done. Nah the show is just gotten too stupid with two equally bad sides now. Maybe the new comers with the armor will give us a group that has kept their morals throughout all of this by not outright murdering and using flimsy excuses such as "I don't take chances anymore" to murder such as Rick has done.
Just one more thing for mortuaries to do.
The morticians, EMTs, doctors, nurses, caregivers....all need to be packing. With how quickly the turn happens I doubt they could wait until a mortuary. WouLD need to always have a knife and be ready.
I actually think those romantically involved need to stop sleeping in the same room in a rebuilt society. You are a heart attack/aneurism in the sleep from your partner of being snacked on. Everyone in their own rooms with doors shut/locked. Hospitals restraining any patient in case of death.
The "doctor" of Alexandria dying did not surprise me, it was all but telegraphed when Darryl and Sasha let her go out with them. Her excuse of "being able to identify what is needed" didn't matter cause they were going to clear the Pharmacy out. Like Eugene she was trying to build some self-respect and not be seen as a full liability to everyone else. Her death...meh.
A friend and I were saying something exactly like I saw in these last few pages....I feel I need to know what a possible "end game" is for the show. Fighting roaming bad guy camp #24 in season 18 is just not appealing. Where are you going, what is the exit strategy?
