The Walking Dead Season 4

'The Wire' actor in talks for Roy Stark

iDigitalTimes reported on Monday, April 22 that actor Lawrence Gilliard Jr. is in talks to play Roy Stark, a new series regular. The actor previously appeared on the crime drama "The Wire" along with Chad Coleman who portrays Tyreese.

A recent casting call for the character is described as "a former army medic" and has trouble adjusting to life after the service. Stark is a bit of a lone wolf and many fans believe the character is based on Abraham Ford in the comic book series. Ford is a newcomer to Rick's group who has also served in the army.

I didn't see this thread before when I looked before starting one myself.
Sorry about that.

Here's what I posted there.

It's funny, I recently watched the movie Love Actually. Andrew Lincoln is barely recognizable in it. So young he still has baby fat.

Interesting casting on her character. I hope that the other characters associated with her will pop up too.

one of the voices on Phineas and Ferb are going to be on as well. Don't remember which one though lol

Jeez, the Govenor/Woodbury and The Prison is boring the arse off me.

I haven't read the graphic novels - is the show moving on soon or is it more of the same...

Woodbury comes to a head by episode 16, and the 4th Season will begin at the Prison still, it seems. Lots of exciting stuff in the final couple/few episodes as Woodbury comes to a head, IMHO.

Episode 16 was kind of anti climatic IMO. I was expecting a huge battle between Woodbury and the Prison people.

*Spoilers* (?)

I wasn't expecting the Governor to gun down half his people in a fit of rage.

^ That spolier would have worked better had my browser not opened your entire post in the centre of the screen. It doesn't matter though, because I've already seen the episode. :guffaw:

I'm assuming this thread is going to be full of spoilers but feel free to spoil away for me. I didn't read all the novels (in fact I've stop reading books that are made into movies or series knowing the book is probably better and saving them until after airing) but is Rick still going to be crazy this season? He has good reason but I liked the normal Rick better.

He was coming back from it the last half of the last season, I'm just hoping it's gone for good.

Same, Season 1/2 Rick was really cool and then he sort of went nuts. Even more Lori died. (Killing Shane seemed to snap him first, Lori sent him off the deep end.)

Look forward to the season, still need to pickup S3 on DVD.
