Mine is of the most awesome living skeleton musician ever, Brukk from the manga One Piece (more commonly as "Brook" in English, but I prefer the Swedish translation). Didn't initally have him as Halloween avatar, but he worked for the season so I decided to pull a namechange as well.

And everyone knows I change avs A LOT. Not so much as I used to, and the last few years or so it's been a lot of Camaro avatars. Will probably return to those in a while.

My Avatar is always Goofy Grape, who is my favorite character from the Funny Face drink mixes of the 60s and early 70s (it was a Kool Aid-like drink). The current "Pumpkin" version was created by Spiff and the normal version was optimized by Spiff. I have a few custom models lying around for various occasions, but it's always Goofy. I also have my own custom Smiley, which was made by Gertch (and a version at ReNext that was optimized by AstroSmurf.

^ Adobe ImageReady has good optimizing features. I just play around with them until I get a good compromise between quality and filesize.

my current avatar is the emblem of Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta, more commonly known as 'Delta Force'. It's because I've been playing 'Delta Force Xtreme 2' a lot lately.

I always try to have a Krypto avatar, so for Halloween, I just searched for dog skeletons on Google Images (I don't recommend looking that up ), and picked one that wasn't too disgusting. Then I added a cape.

Could be you have the default 'safe search' turned on.

I'm not testing the theory and googling myself - I've seen enough bad things through Google

Mine is always a Google grab of the character, Trekkie Monster, from the musical, Avenue Q.

I'm just learning to fiddle around in PhotoShop, and added the Friday the 13th Jason mask and bloody machete for the season.

I think I may do more seasonally appropriate AVs down the road.

If I haven't mentioned it before, I love that you use the Funny Face character. I can still vividly recall not only drinking the stuff as a kid, but being so excited when the mailman would come with that box that had my new Funny Face cup each month. I had 'em all. Goofy Grape was my brother's favorite. Personally, I was a Lefty Lemon-Lime fan, partially because I liked the flavor, and partially because the aforementioned cup had him holding a baseball bat as the handle.

And I hated Freckle Face Strawberry ..., well ..., because I had freckles as a kid and the other kids on the playground used to call me that.

Mine's Frakes. It always Frakes. Actually, that's not true. It's usually Riker. I think this is the first time that it's been the actor rather than the character.

I like spotting nicely turned out avatars around the board. Currently I've been admiring The's new avatar.
