The unnecessary reboot/remake of the week thread

I think you meant A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Once Upon a Time in the West should never be remade. Five minutes of humor does feel accurate for that one, though.
You're right....and you think better than I do this week. I never mentioned the ORVILLE, but it outclasses A MILLION DAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST. Probably 8 MILLION DAYS TO DIE as well.

FWIW, I think The Orville might be his best work. Some might argue Family Guy, but I find The Orville more accessible in terms of humour. His humour is obviously very subjective, and I find he tries to push the envelope more in Family Guy, but I find The Orville's humour to be more generally good-natured.

Star Trek:Orville is his best show but Family Guy is better in terms of humor. I really like "A Million Ways to Die in the West" though along with the Ted movies and Ted the show and American Dad. Didn't like "The Cleveland Show." Also like his singing and he actually did a good job hosting the Oscars.

I'd certainly take it over TNG.:rommie:

There's a rumor that Lifetime is bringing back the soap opera All My Children for a continuation with its characters, but not as a "soap soap," rather a series of TV movies.

Michael B. Jordan to direct and star in Thomas Crown Affair (no “The”, if this story is accurate) for Amazon MGM studios

I feel like we will never get to see him in that movie about one of the Black Superman characters from the comics. Which is sad because I was looking forward to that. A interesting take on a Superman who isn't Clark Kent.

IIRC he was down to produce, but not confirmed to star. Then there was also some confusion as to whether it was simply going to be a black Clark Kent. But I absolutely agree with you, whoever was in the suit, it would’ve been very interesting to see the Supes who wasn’t CK, especially a black one.

Wasn't Jaleel White the black Clark Kent?:borg:

That's one I would have been kind of interested in. Like the idea of cops exploring cold cases and on the old show I liked how they would use music from that time and then you would see flashes of what they use to look like and what they would look like in modern day.
