"The Trouble with Tribbles" Line-by-Line

Greetings!

We've recently concluded our "Improbable Cause/The Die is Cast Line-by-Line" thread over in the DS9 forum!

After each completed thread, I'm randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was Sinistra (Alienesse)! And Sinistra has chosen "The Trouble with Tribbles" as our next line-by-line adventure!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread, I will pick someone at random from among all the participants to choose the next episode we do.

Kirk: Good, Mister Chekov, this flight is supposed to provide both experience and knowledge. How close will we come to the nearest Klingon Outpost if we stay on our present course?

Spock: Under dispute between the two parties since initial contact. The battle of Donatu Five was fought near here twenty three solar years ago. Inconclusive.

SPOCK: Undeveloped. Sherman's Planet is claimed by both sides, our Federation and the Klingon Empire. We do have the better claim.
