Theorising that one could time travel within his own IMDb page, Doctor Scott Bakula stepped into the Quantum Slipstream accelerator and vanished... He woke to find himself trapped in the past, facing a mirror image that was indeed his own, and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better by avoiding Romulans, Borg, Ferengi and most importantly, Retcons. His only guide on this journey is The Doctor, an observer from his own time, who appears in the form of a hologram that everyone can see and hear (and won't shut up). And so Doctor Bakula finds himself stuck in a shitty prequel, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping that Riker leaves the damn holodeck alone…

Yeah, something tells me they will have the nerve to just call it Star Trek again... which wouldn't be that bad except for having ST:TOS, ST(2009) and ST(2017) bearing the same official name.
