I have of course come across Star Trek in passing over the years, but only recently did I start gaining an interest to watch everything in full and ready some of the literature. I have plenty of catching up to do before I even get to whatever this new series is, but I hope to they do it justice for such a passionate fan base.

I just really got into sci-fi and watched and read everything Stargate (I hope that doesn't offend I was just going on a recommendation from a friend). I'm ready to explore the Star Trek universe.
